I had been assuming that no news was good news. Looks like you're having a blast so far. Owl walk?

Going back to b-town in two nights! Not gonna be the same without you guys!

Wow, great pics Linnea, and nice smiles on your faces. Your mom looks like she fits right back into the "old country," except maybe for those shoes. You might need to take her shopping...

Were you able to take out the little skifs along the coast and secure some herring?

Jeff from LBL, where it's 65F and very nice...

The sunset pic is...gorgeous! Sure don't get any sunsets like that here in Lodi! Hope you're having a good time, Sally. We'll be thinking of you both while we're sitting around the table here in Lodi, gorging ourselves on smoked turkey, Honeybaked ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, pies, cranberry sauce, rolls, green bean casserole...I'm going up Wednesday afternoon to pick up Colleen & Samvel; Paul and Carl will arrive sometime Thursday AM and leave that night; Colleen's co-worker, Trish, is going to join us too. And a good time will be had by all!
Love to you both!

Carl -- no owl walk. Turns out there weren't going to be any actual owls... we'll tell you the story later. Wish I could see you for Thanksgiving! I hope the BHS water polo game is fun!

Jeff -- my mom is well-armed with several pairs of shoes, in fact, and is definitely very at home. "Everyone is speaking Swedish!" she keeps saying (with a lot of joy). 65F, eh? Surprisingly, I am getting used to the weather. It's interesting to walk out of the house when it is 40 degrees and think "wow, what a balmy afternoon!"

Betsy -- mmm, sounds delicious! We're going to try to get by with our "imported" canned pumpkin and stuffing mix (my mom brought it along from the U.S.), but we're also attending a catered dinner for the UC students on Saturday PM. Have fun, we'll see you around New Year's!!
